2. Xenon lamp: uses the xenon light-emitting principle.

Advantages: high brightness, long life, 4 times that of halogen, low light decay, low power consumption, and low light decay.

Disadvantages: It usually takes 1-3 seconds to start, 2-3 seconds to reach 40% of the brightness, and 4-6 seconds to reach the highest brightness. It is not suitable for independent high beam. Some basic knowledge of LED headlights

1. Why do many LED headlights come with cooling fans?

Although LEDs are cold light sources, LEDs only radiate light without generating heat, but the lamp beads and components still generate heat. Many small factories cannot solve the heat dissipation problem. Due to poor heat dissipation, many LED headlight manufacturers cannot increase the LED power, which is generally only around 20W. The power directly determines the brightness of the light, so many LED headlights on the market do not have good lighting effects. Let's first understand what lenses are and the advantages of lenses. A lens is a convex lens in the lamp holder that can gather the light. A lamp holder with a lens does not need a lamp watt to focus the light.

Advantages of lens headlights: Among car lights, the light shape of the lens lamp head is the most standard, and there can be a very obvious light and dark cutting line, which solves the problem of astigmatism. In foreign countries, xenon lamps are used with lenses as standard. This kind of lens belongs to the category of optical lenses, and we call it "lens". Compared with headlights with traditional lamp heads, headlights with lens lamp heads have the advantages of uniform brightness, strong penetration, and less light loss.

If the original lamp holder is not equipped with a lens, installing LED headlights or xenon lamps will cause the risk of low beam like high beam, which is what we often call glare effect. Because LED headlights and xenon lamps are much brighter than halogen bulbs.
